Dr. Ajeenah Nuriddin-Little is the Director of Academic Support at Rutgers-University Camden. She joined the Rutgers-Camden community in October of 2016. Prior to Rutgers-Camden, Ajeenah served as the Assistant Dean of Student Support Services at Peirce College among other roles during her thirteen years. She was responsible for supporting traditional and nontraditional students while leading student success initiatives such as the Developmental Education program, state and federal grant programs and retention management initiatives. In addition, Ajeenah served on the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Self-Study Steering Committee as well as lead a cross-functional committee responsible for the implementation of the strategic plan initiative under Guidance and Support.
Dr. Nuriddin-Little received her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Rowan University, M.S. in Human Resource Counseling and her B. A. in husband and two beautiful children.
Kate Gonzalez joined the Learning Center team at Rutgers Camden in January 2020. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and is a certified School Counselor in both NJ and PA. With a strong background in counseling and case management, Kate moved into the higher education field in 2015 as an Adjunct Faculty member at Rosemont College, and then as a Retention Advisor at Rowan College at Burlington County. Kate is a first generation college student who struggled greatly in her first few years of college, ultimately experiencing dismissal. This experience led her to find passion and meaning in helping students navigate through their own personal college experiences. In her free time, Kate enjoys being outside, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
