Real Time Live Online Tutoring
The RCLC is using a real time online tutoring system using the Big Blue Button software in the Fall 2014 term. Students are now able to receive individual one on one Tutoring and Writing Assistance without having to physically be at the Learning Center. Students interested in receiving online tutoring can sign up for a session through our online tutoring appointment scheduler and select Online Tutoring as the subject area. Next select the course for which you need assistance, or Writing Assistance if you need help with a writing assignment for a course. Then make an appointment with one of our Online Tutors. Students seeking Online Tutoring for courses not listed should contact Dr. Robert Ciervo at email@example.com to set up online tutoring for other classes.
Once an appointment is set up students will just login to the session at the Accutrack login page a few minutes before their scheduled appointment time and follow the prompts to enter the live online session. Students will need a computer with a web camera, microphone and speakers to fully utilize the service. A recently purchased lap top computer will have these features and enable the student to receive real in person tutoring without having to be on campus.
